  • Posted by: MIS UNIT

Hon. Abla Dzifa Gomashie the Member of Parliament for the Ketu South Constituency was at The Three Town Senior High School with a rep of the Regional Director of Education, the Municipal Chief Executive, Mr Elliot Agbenorwu and the Ketu South Municipal Assembly Members to meet with the management, staff and the student body.

The visit was necessitated by an incident carried widely on Social Media and traditional media of a final year student of Three Town Secondary School who slashed the elbow of a teacher.

Hon. Dzifa Gomashie expressed her sympathy to the teaching staff who indicated that they do not feel safe in the school anymore because of the recent occurrences of indiscipline exhibited by the students.

The teachers of the school in collaboration with NAGRAT have decided to boycott the invigilation of the 2021 WASSSE.

The Member of Parliament who is also a former Deputy Minister for Tourism, Culture and Creative Arts advised the students to be of good behaviour.

She reminded them that a good name is indeed better than riches. As individuals it is their responsibility to protect their family name and the name of their School. They were also reminded of the need to be law abiding and eschew bad behaviour.

Earlier, the Member of Parliament visited the victim, Mr John Akey Kwashie the ICT teacher in his house.
