Stakeholder meetings held between Management and Hedranawo Market Women

The Assembly in its quest to improve the local economy of the district, applied the fund received from the DPAT 6 assessment to the construction of a 20-unit lockable store at the Hedranawo market. The contractor delivered the project in record time.  Since the start of the project, management has received over 80 applications from various market women expressing interest in the store to support their business.

To ensure that there is fairness in the market store allocation process, Management on Wednesday 3rd May 2023 met with the market women who applied to explain to them the processes that would be followed to allocate the store. At the end of the program, they express their appreciation to the management for the opportunity to also share their view on the processes for the allocation of the stores.
