Mayor of Adjarra State in Benin calls on Ketu South Municipal Assembly – Thursday 18/08/2022

The Mayor of Adjarra State/ Municipality located in the Republic of Benin, Mr Germian Sourou Wanvoegbe, led a delegation to undertake a tour of the Volta, Greater Accra and Eastern Regions.

A welcome ceremony held at the residence of Togbe Adzonugaga Amenya Fiti V, the Paramount Chief of Aflao Traditional Area saw the patronage of the Municipal Chief Executive of the Ketu South Municipal Assembly, Hon. Maxwell Koffie Lugudor, Member of Parliament (MP) for Ketu South, Madam Abla Dzifa Gomashie, Ms Abena Agyeiwaa Kumi, Head of Chancery in Benin among other dignitaries. The aim of the visit was to explore and strengthen opportunities for a sister-cities partnership between the two municipalities in the areas of agriculture, culture, creative arts and tourism promotion. The visit also connects the work of the Ewe Commission of the African Union, which has Ghana, Togo, Benin and Nigeria as members
