The Ketu South Municipal Assembly is in the process of handing over the collection of property rate to it’s five (5) Zonal Councils. This is part of processes aimed at strengthening the sub-structures of the Assembly and depening the decentralization drive.

In light of this, the chairmen, secretaries, treasurers of the the Zonal Councils, revenue collectors for both the Councils and the Assembly, management staff of the Assembly are among 111 participants trained in a two-day training with support from GIZ.

It is hoped that this will contribute to increase the internally generated fund of the Zonal Councils and the Assembly at large and ultimately improve on service delivery to the citizens of Ketu South Municipality.
