The Department of Agriculture of the Ketu South Municipal Assembly organized a training workshop for farmers group at Wute Lente (Men & Mother Support Group) on the use of Orange-Fleshed Sweet Potato (OFSP) which is very rich in Vitamin A and ultimately boost immunity. The training workshop was attended by 19 male and 49 female famers with some selected pupils in attendance.

The farmers were also trained on value addition to cassava processing into different variants of Gari such as Ginger Gari, Soya Gari, and Coconut Gari. Other alternative livelihood empowerment training was given to the farmer on liquid soap and coconut ice cream preparation.
