The Environmental Health unit in collaboration with Assemblyman for the Avoeme West electoral area observed the national sanitation day celebration for June, 2022 on 4th June, 2022.

The clean-up exercise was hugely participated in by the citizens. In an address after the program, the Municipal Environmental Health Officer, Mr. Cephas Horsu commended the Assemblyman and units committee members present for a hard day’s work. The Assemblyman for the area in commending the people ask for support from the assembly to prosecute offenders of the sanitation byelaw.
